Shani Kaplan, is an occupational therapist with over 20 years of experience working with children, with learning disabilities, autism, Down’s syndrome, developmental delay, sensory processing disorder, ADHD and other diagnoses. She has specialized training in sensory processing, reflex integration, NDT, visual processing, executive functioning, social skills training, handwriting and dyslexia.
Shani enjoys helping her clients maximize their potential by enabling them to be successful in whatever environment they are in. She collaborates with parents and teachers to facilitate the child’s success in both the academic and social arena.
Shani graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Occupational Therapy, cum laude, from the State University of New York College of Health-Related Profession in 2002. She constantly continues to increase her expertise through various continued education programs.
