Hi Miriam,
I wanted to let you know where Alex is holding. He has made such tremendous progress and is practically a new child, we are amazed!!
He is much calmer and doesn’t get frustrated over things like he used to. Many times I think that a melt down is coming, then I remind myself that his tolerance level is at a new place, I’m not even sure a meltdown will come…
This really sweet side of his personality is coming out more and more.
I hardly see him putting things in his mouth, I bought him new clothing and I don’t see him biting them, like he used to. His teacher mentioned it too. (Nail biting will hopefully stop when he chooses to break the habit once he’s older)
I feel that what used to be out of control behaviors that I couldn’t manage, are a normal 5 year old, that is so manageable.
My husband and I are so grateful for the tools you gave us, the exercises we did with him, and the whole amazing journey of growth that you took us on, to where he is today one year later, is truly incredible. If I can even say… a miracle, Thank G-d. Thank you Miriam for all you do for the children and parents out there who are benefitting so much from the tools you are giving them.
I’m not sure if you “close” a child’s case, so I just wanted to keep you in the loop, and of course to express our appreciation!!
***I forgot to mention earlier he also got dismissed for OT at Children’s Specialized hospital for meeting his goals after 3 months instead of 5.
